Getting our bees

We are collecting our bees this Saturday evening. We have a nuc with a 2019 queen and a strong brood, so with an improvement to the weather and some feeding they should be able to build their food storage for the winter.

This is the reality check. Great doing it at the training apiary with a guide, but this is like on your own time.

So much to do before Saturday. Most important is to cut the logs and stack in the wood store before they arrive.

We have brought plastic broad and super frames as the nuc will be on them; supplied with a thin starter of wax foundation so time will tell.
